I finally started a cardigan. I am using the basic pattern from “Button Up Your Top Down” by Debbie Gemmill.

It has raglan sleeves and is knitted from the top down. I have made a couple of pullover sweaters for my family but never something for myself. I am using Cotton Fleece by Brown Sheep. The yarn is 80% Cotton and 20% Merino Wool. I live in North Carolina and it is too warm here for wool most of the time. And no telling how long this will take me to finish.

I bought the yarn from Knitting Sisters in Williamsburg, VA. It is a great shop. Great space, the staff is wonderful. I wish it was in my area. But they sell online.

I started it last night. It took me a couple of tries to get the set up right but once I wrote it out in list form.
